As pumpkins dot doorsteps and autumn fills the air, we’re excited to share a peek at what’s inside our new library booklet! Cozy up with Tales Through the Holidays and explore a variety of festive events at our libraries this season. Discover programs like Beyond Books, the Imagination Library, and 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, perfect for sparking curiosity and a love of reading in young learners. Dear Library Friends, Join the Tales Through the Holidays Reading Challenge on Beanstack or in the library! This flexible program lets you set your own goal, whether it’s reading for 20 minutes a day, reading a certain number of pages each day, or enjoying one book at a time. Each time you reach a goal or complete an activity, you’ll fill in a circle on your log. As you uncover stories and explore new worlds, you’ll stay motivated and celebrate your progress with fun prizes! Prizes must be picked up by Monday, December 1. A big thank-you to our sponsors! Beyond Books Collection Imagination Library 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Ohio brings the joy of reading to children from birth to age five with a free, age-appropriate book delivered to their home each month—no cost, no catch! You can help keep this program free for all Ohio families by purchasing an official Imagination Library license plate, available online at OPLATES.com or in person at any deputy registrar license agency. With each plate purchased in Adams County, $25 goes directly to the Imagination Library’s local partner. So drive with Dolly, spread the love of reading, and help imagination grow—one child, one book, one ride at a time! Our Beyond Books Collection offers more than just reading; it's a hands-on way to explore, create, and play!
