Borrowing Library Materials Library Card Policy 16 DVDs are loaned for 7 days Borrow up to 15 DVDs at once Children under 18 cannot borrow R-rated movies Books and other items are loaned for 21 days Any item can be renewed up to 4 times, unless someone else is waiting to borrow that item Your items will auto-renew, unless someone else is waiting to borrow the item To check the status of your items, call the library, or visit the Online Catalog and use your library card and PIN Any item may be returned in the book return window when the library is closed Items can be returned at all Adams County Library branches Your Adams County Public Library card can be used at other Ohio libraries Anyone living in or employed in Ohio can sign up for a free library card Please bring a photo ID with your correct address, or a piece of mail showing your correct address when you apply for a card Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to apply for a card. Children under 18 can sign up for a "junior" card without a parental signature Please present your library card at the desk when you borrow items, for your protection The fee for a replacement card is $1.00
