Summer Reading: Unearth a Story Summer will be here before you know it, and the Adams County Public Libraries have a lineup of exciting adventures waiting for you! Our Summer Reading Program begins on Wednesday, May 20 and continues until Saturday, July 11. This year, we will unearth many stories and explore a variety of topics, taking participants on a journey through archaeology, anthropology, paleontology, dinosaurs, fossils, and much more. Readers of all ages can set their own reading goals and track their progress using the Beanstack app, making it easy to log reading time and completed activities from anywhere. Completing activities will help participants reach their goals and earn exciting prizes. We have various exciting educational programs planned throughout the summer, including Storytime for the little ones and engaging family programs for everyone to enjoy. You can experience hands-on crafts and activities, learning opportunities, as well as our vast collection of books, movies, magazines, etc. You can even dive into our Beyond Books collection, featuring hands-on and interactive items for all ages. Check out phonics kits to build early literacy skills, memory kits designed to support cognitive engagement, and Air Toobz for creative STEM play. We even offer and Yoto and Tonie audio players that bring stories and music to life in a fun and screen-free way. These unique resources are perfect for learning, exploring, and enjoying something new beyond traditional books. We are excited to welcome you to the library this summer. Many adventures await you at the library this summer. 5
